The photographs show the two sides of the same poncho due to the variety in the yarn. The luxurious grey Mohair imbedded in the stitches provide a soft, fashionable effect while still keeping the feeling of an heirloom. 
This poncho is machine washable in cold on delicate and should be laid flat to dry.
